A Little History of My Art

My mom saved everything I drew, from when I was 4 years old.  After much discussion, she was willing to give some of them to me.  Try as I would, she would not relinquish the self portrait I drew when I was 6.  Sigh....  I'm much older now but to this day, my mom hangs my elaborate Halloween art on her picture window.  I'm still her little girl....  How cute is that?

Here are the things she begrudgingly gave up:

1963  8 1/2"x11"

This was for an art contest I never entered.

1965  12"x18"

Just because

1965  8"x12"

School project

1965  8 1/2"x11"

Another school project

1965  8 1/2"x11"

A continuing school project

1965  8 1/2"x11"

And more....

1965  12"x18"

I loved Charles Schultz

1965  12"x18"

I traced what I drew onto cotton and embroidered this.

1965  18"x12"

More of Mr. Schultz's influence

1966  8 1/2"x11"

And yet another school project

1966  8 1/2"x11"

Again....

1967  8 1/2"x11"

Canada's Centennial Year

1968  4"x7"

1973  12"x14"

An old High School project
